What We Collect
We collect information in two ways — information you provide directly, and information generated automatically through your use of the service.
Information you provide:
- Email address and password when you create an account
- Name and profile information from Google Sign-In (if you choose that option)
- Email addresses you submit for verification
- Payment information processed by Razorpay (we never see or store your card details)
- Communications you send to our support team
Information generated automatically:
- Verification job history and results
- Credit balance and transaction records
- IP address and browser type for security purposes
- Feature usage patterns to improve the service
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to operate, maintain, and improve VerifyFlow. Specifically:
- To create and manage your account and authenticate your identity
- To process email verifications and deliver results
- To track your credit balance and record transactions
- To send transactional emails — account confirmation, purchase receipts, and service alerts
- To investigate and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not profile you for marketing purposes, and we do not sell or rent your information to any third party under any circumstances.
Data Storage
Your account data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure, which provides enterprise-grade security, encryption at rest, and redundant backups. Firebase is operated by Google LLC and complies with international data protection standards.
Verification results are stored in Firestore and associated with your account. Email addresses you submit for verification are processed by our backend infrastructure and stored only as part of your job history — they are never shared with third parties or used for any purpose other than returning your results.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers — Google Firebase (infrastructure), Razorpay (payment processing). These providers are contractually bound to use your data only to provide services to us
- Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority
- Business transfers — In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy
Cookies and Tracking
VerifyFlow uses essential cookies to maintain your authenticated session. These are strictly necessary for the service to function and cannot be disabled without logging you out.
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies. We do not partner with any ad networks or data brokers.
- Session cookies — Firebase Auth tokens to keep you logged in
- Preference cookies — Local storage for UI preferences (theme, settings)
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Verification job history is retained to provide you with access to your past results and to support any disputes.
If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes (such as payment records, which are retained for 7 years under Indian accounting law).
Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion — Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Portability — Request your verification history in a machine-readable format
- Objection — Object to any processing of your data that you believe is unlawful

Security

Children's Privacy
VerifyFlow is a business-to-business service and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notification before the changes take effect. The date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last updated.
